Hole 1

Hole 1: Par 5  Hole 1: Mabel Lake Golf Course

Our opening par 5 will challenge and impress you as you begin your journey around Mabel Lake Golf and Country Club. This hole demands a well placed tee shot up the left side of the fairway opening you up for your second shot around the dog leg to a sloping fairway.

As you approach the green be sure to take enough club to find the proper tier on this double green. Smile and pat yourself on the back if you have avoided the large greenside bunker and the right side as it is one of Mabel Lake’s smallest hazards.

Hole 2

Hole 2  Mabel Lake Golf Course: Hole 2

This mid-length par 4 is a visual illusion as you stand on the second tee box. This sharp dog-leg right features an expansive transition area all the way up the right hand side. Aim your tee ball left of the 150 yard marker or the white house through the fairway.

For your approach take an extra club into the green but beware of the out of bounds over the back cart path.

Hole 3

One of our many signature holes. Take a club off the tee that will leave your favourite yardage to our elevated green. Avoid BC’s largest bunker on the right side of the tee. An extra club is a good idea.

A friendly drop area is located at the green for any golfer whose ball should find the environmental area. No entry is permitted.

Hole 4

Hole 4  Hole 4

The shortest but most demanding of the par 3’s. If the pin is in the back take an extra club. Any missed shot will funnel off the hill and down to the hole.

A drop area is there for anyone who misses and ends up in the environmental area to the right.

Hole 5

Hole 5  Hole 5  Hole 5

This “L” Shaped par 5 is the biggest risk reward hole on the golf course. The longer hitter may be tempted to cut the corner but out of bounds left and the largest waste bunker in BC through the fairway may make you think twice.

A smart shot out to the 250 yd. stick gives the golfer a clear view down to the green.

Be mindful of the pin on this hole as the right club choice to each different pin position is imperative. Avoid the deep waste bunker on the right.

Good news!! After a bad hole, the concession (refreshing beverages etc.) is right behind the green.

Hole 7

Hole 7  Hole 7

A tight fairway landing area between two transition areas will require an accurate tee shot. A short second will place you on the challenging double green.

Hole 8

Hole 8  Hole 8  Hole 8

A precise tee shot will be a must to avoid the transition area and forest surrounding the putting surface.

Hole 9

Hole 9  Hole 9  Hole 9

Take your pick as this is another signature hole. This finishing hole demands a long straight tee shot to a rolling fairway. A smart lay-up to avoid both of the ponds is a must.

If your ball finds the green before it finds the water, smile and wave to the patrons on the patio.
